SRP and Flash Update 11.2.202.228
Anybody else see a problem with new version of flash locking up IE9 under SRP on Windows 7 Professional?
If I turn off SRP then flash and IE 9 work fine. With SRP on going to a page with Flash IE 9 never loads the page fully and IE must be stopped through task manager. I see this problem on 32 bit and 64 bit versions.
Windows 7 Home Premium does not have this problem with install.

You could try enabling advanced logging and see if SRP is blocking anything related to Flash or IE:

Is it just with IE 9? How about with other browsers?

I'll try advanced logging today when I get a chance. I created a system restore point before install of the flash update so I rolled back to the previous version which works fine.
I don't know if it happens with other browsers, I only use IE9.
I also posted on Wilders where others have seen the problem and I will post on Adobe site later. I'll update here as I go.

Re: SRP and Flash Update 11.2.202.228
Today I was given a workaround on Wilders to the Adobe flash problem with SRP. A similar problem happened with Adobe and SRP back in 2010.
Adding a hash rule to SRP, Add C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil11g_ActiveX.dll to SRP, using hash rule.
The above allows flash to run unrestricted, not best option but...
As noted by "safeguy", the rule must be re-added with each update of flash.
Hopefully Adobe will fix the problem.
