Question
I always have Firefox sand-boxed, do I need no-script for any additional security purpose? Would it be a good idea to leave it installed?

Re: Question
I use no-script just in case, even though it's sandboxed. I allow some scripts per site on a case by case basis. Usually just enough to for a functioning web page. I also delete sandbox contents every time I close FF. So far it's worked well (over a year).

Re: Question
Hey Wingman!!
If you are used to it,and have learned to live with it,you might as well keep it
as tnegjm has said "just in case".
I just default disable Java script, and have a button from the FireFox add-on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2377/
that can toggle it on and off. (note this is not a separate toolbar, just a useful selection of buttons that ride on the normal Firefox tool-bars)
It works for me,but I know No-Script works for more than just Java.

noor

Re: Question
Yes, I would recommend keeping NoScript.
The main reason I use it is actually to speed up loading on some sites (it blocks a lot of the rubbish). Another reason I use it is because I don't empty my Firefox sandbox that often (only when new versions of Firefox come out). Therefore, NoScript acts as a powerful anti-keylogger, anti-scriptlogger etc for every surfing session (despite not emptying Firefox regularly). It's just a precaution against a purely theoretical risk.

Re: Question
Thanks for the replies, looks like a keeper.
On the no-script/Embeddings page do you have everything set to default?
I was wondering about the IFRAMES and FRAMES options.
noorismail, I use those tool bar buttons and disable JavaScript most of the time and cut back on the sweets (cookies).
