new member lurking

had some issues registering last night, perhaps my chosen pw was too long but whatever that problem was... I shortened my pw some and registered ok this afternoon. Some of your posts have been very help. I'll mostly lurk in the background, unless I run into some major problem. the box I mostly use, is mostly problem free and I get specialized help other places for it, but I will enjoy reading the windows security issues, as sometimes I must use windows, and help clueless friends with their windows.
