Tutorial for Windows 7 Firewall?

I am encouraged by the features of the Windows 7 firewall, and I would like to try it. I would appreciate links to tutorials on using the basic and advanced options in Windows 7 Professional. I want to learn how to remove the default rules and replace them with my short list of rules (block all incoming traffic for sessions not initiated by my PC, some global outgoing blocking rules, allow a few applications to send out).
